Armes d’Honneur Awarded to the Regiments d'Infanterie Legere

Following on from the previous article on the
Armes d’Honneur Awarded to the Regiments
d’Infanterie de Ligne below is listed the Armes d’Honneur awarded
to the Regiments d’Infanterie Legere. The Regiments d’Infanterie Legere
received a total of Two hundred and thirty eight Armes d’Honneur.
Sabres d’Honneur: Sixty-five
Fusils d’Honneur: One hundred sixty-two
Baguettes d’Honneur: Nine
Carbine d’Honneur: One
Award unknown: One
As before the regiments would have been classed as Demi-brigades d’Infanterie
Legere, however as all the Regiments apart from the 20e and
30e Demi-brigades which were disbanded in 1803 and 1802
respectively served during the Empire period I have given them their
imperial title – Regiments d’Infanterie Legere.
