OK, the Russian regulation is right, as is the French, or the British Rules and Regulation or the Austrian Abrichtungsreglement, etc. you don't spit the bullet into the barrel, how can you, expecially with fixed bayonets, you really also don't bite off the cartridge, you take the back of the cartridge with your teeth, for fixing and then rip with your hand the cartridge away, so it is open, now with this open part you go to the pan, pour some small amount of poweder onto the pan (in case is is not self priming Prussian and Saxon muskets) and then you bring the rest of the cartridge with the open part over the barrel - that the powder (which will form the powder charge) can fall down into the barrel and you bring the rest of the cartridge (which incluedes the ball) into the barrel, draw the ramrod etc.
Thinking only spitting a bullet into the barrel, how to do so, especially after some shots it gets f.... hot - and then accidently the gun may go off and off goes the back of your skull as well.
Alles Klar?
Sometimes it pays off the see the things from the worm's eye.
