Hans Karl,

As you are a very experienced re-enactor, I don't understand in explaining for non-experienced people, that you forgot to mention the fact that, once you had put some powder in the pan, you had to close it, otherwise the powder would fell out.
After closing the pan, you put your gun besides your left, barrel upright a little away from your body, and you take the now open cartridge, with the bullet inside, and pour down the resting powder in the barrel. Afterwards you put the bullet, still in its paper cartridge, into the barrel, draw the ramrod, etc..... ,
