we can exclude all serverly wounded at QB. What about the other officers of the bataillon? I used the Waterloo extracts from napleonic-literature, but there are logically only the wounded and killed listed.
Gunter, for the 42nd take your pick, command would have gone down the chain, Cpt John Campbell seems to have come away without wounds.
as far as i know, command stayed within the regiment. I think Cpt. Campbell was in command, because he was the only brevet Maj. left in the bataillon. Did he wear majors dictions because of his brevet rank? Did he command the unit mounted?
Interestingly only a few officers came out of both battles without wounds:
