thank you very much. One thing I donīt understand. He was captain (brevet major) and then promoted to Lt.-Col? Was that a brevet rank or did he become full Lt.-Col.?

Who other? I think he was the senior remaining officer.
Do you know something about the probable uniform he may wore?

Good info, thank you. Most KGL Colonels were used for higher command or absent from their bataillons. Brevet Col. Ompteda and Brevet Col. du Plat were commanding a brigade each.
