I was going to mention both "Records and Badges of the British Army, 1900" by Henry M. Chichester and George Burges Short and "In Search of The Forlorn Hope" by John M Kitzmiller II. Published, 1988, publisher, Manuscript Publishing. ISBN, 0961926058.
Both only give the regulars. While Kitzmiller gives actual locations it does not break it down by the battalions, just records which regiment was where. "R & B" gives overseas locations [e.g. India, Canada, etc.] and which ones were at home, but not home stations.
Michael Glover's "The Peninsular War: A Concise History" is about the best for those regiments which served in Portugal and Spain, but has some a few errors and omissions, as do the others.
So probably best to cross-reference all the suggested works to get a good handle on the period.
