Iíd like to thank all for your detailed answers. Posting questions to this forum for me was always an ultimo ratio in my investigations, and Iíve never failed in achieving the best results from your answers. You all are fantastic guys! My special thanks to Markus for the plate posted. I think that the sources youíve mentioned would be hardly available for me here. By the way, the fanion on the plate bears the number "13", was it changed to "11" with the change of the number of this regiment? Steven, I would be even greater obliged to you for further details as Iím still puzzled with the design of the fanions. Do you mean P. Hess that made numerous paintings of the events of the Russian Campaign (battles of Polotsk, Maloyaroslavets etc.)? If so, he do made mistakes, in uniform details as well in the events that realy took place, though youíre right, the paintings are very sound.
Thank you very much once more and my best regards to all.
