The date helps. Acc. to Wrede, in 1792-7 the Siebenburgen and Banat grenz regiments were divided between Germany and Italy. Wrede notes that part of 1st and 2nd Wallachian fought in a combined Walachen-Bataillonen and that the 1st battalion of each served in Germany and the 2nd and 3rd of each in Italy. The Banaters were committed in exactly the same way (the combined battalion designated the Banater-Bataillonen). It's not clear from his brief entry how the combined battalions were formed, but they seem to be distinct from the 1st battalions - possibly formed from companies drawn from each pair of regiments (1st & 2nd Wallachian as one pair, Deutsch-Banat and Wallachian-Illyrian as the second pair). So your guys would be the combined Wallachian battalion or one of the two 1st battalions. Rothenberg's book on the military border or maybe Vanicek might have some details. I'm not sure if I copied the 1792-7 part of Vanicek but will check tonight.
