To all forum companions,

I'm still involved in that quite interesting periode of the Revolutionary armies and came upon a grade I can't place .
In French it is noted as "adjoint aux adjudants-Généraux".
How do I fill that in - who where the adjudants-Généraux and who could be their adjoints ?
