As for Toussaint Louverture, there has been a great deal of research carried on and I very much doubt the boast that new material has been found in archives in France and elsewhere. Sound like a gross exaggeration. And although Louverture was certainly mistreated in prison (and I`ve read the original documents), he was most certainly not "starved to death" as claimed!
