As you well know the ‘an XI’ 12lb field tubes were produced and used by the GA. I have provided this information, including citations and photographs, to you on several occasions. I guess it depends upon the meaning of the trick phrase ‘put into production in any quantity’. They were produced in proportion to the number used in the field - which was in a relative small number compared to the 6ld gun and 24 lb howitzer production. The same could be said for the ‘an XI’ siege pieces. The pontoon equipment was also used and liked in the field. Again, this information, as well as citation, was provided to you on at least one occasion.
What was the overall production of 'an XI' equipmant from 'an XI' through 1815, by tube casting and carriage type? Please provide adequite citation for any such statements.
