I found the comments of Fezensac very interesting, there they are not the usual mainstream idea what we think did happen at Boulogne.
But again, other regiments might have worked differently.
I think Bonnal is unfair putting the question marks behind the comments of Fezensac, he should have instead conter quoted him with other participants of the camp de Boulogne.
I found Fezensac very interesting to read (the most recent memoire I read front to cover - therefore a lot of his observations still stick to my mind, like that the Voltigeur companies were put into realiasation in the middle of the 1805 campaign in Germany.
