This is how I see it:
General Seras’s Division is formed with the left leading which is the 112e deployed.
It is off to the right of the Colonne Vuide and just behind the 92e deployed as Colonel Penne stated. I also believe that the 92e was reunited and deployed at the head of the Colonne Vuide.
"La division marchait la gauche en tête; le régiment formait le tête de colonne et marchait sa droite appuyée derrière la droite du 92e, qui marchait en bataille."
I also agree that according to the Historiques du 84e régiment d'infanterie de ligne, page 172, we have the following passage "…la division Lamarque occupait la guache, la division Broussier la droite; le 84 eut ses bataillons en colonne formant la tete de la colonne de droite."
I also agree that I find it very hard to accept a regiment separating it’s dispositive. It does not make any sense at all. It goes against the very general principles.
Therefore normally the 9e would have followed behind the 84e which was also ployed. That also gives you six battalions ployed, which is what we want for the right flank of the Colonne Vuide.
