There were two von der Brügggenei, named Hasenkamp:
Rudolph, in 1835 Sekonde-Lieutenant (patent dated 15 August 1830) in the 3. Infanterie-Regiment. This one quit on 27 November 1837:
Hugo, our author, of the 1. Infanterie-Regiment, who was transfered to the 28. Infanterie-Regiment in January 1838.
The date and description of events in the "Esprit de Corps" article match more with Rudolph and the 3. Infanterie-Regiment. I will try to get copies of the 1845 Darlegung in order to possibly find out more. Maybe "H. v. Hasenkamp" has just to be read as "Herr von Hasenkamp".
