A transcript thereof:

This passage concerns the assembling of troops for the defense of St.-Petersburg early on in the campaign. Many of them were later sent to Wittgenstein as the threat no longer existed, do to the actions of Steingel, Essen and Wittgenstein.

You state: "On page 342 he give a general Baschuzkii forming 6 reserve battalions for the guard and 18 for the Finland Corps.What about the 6 guards battalions? Where they engaged?"

p. 342, same work:

I can not find that on the cited page. <8^{ I can not find a 'Baschuzkii' in vol. 1. <8^{

"General Kachowskij"? 6 reserve guard companies were formed in Finland. They were formed into two battalions and eventually sent to Wittgenstein with instructions to be careful with them. The reserve squadrons of the Guard were combined and took a big part in Wittgenstein's battles. 6 reserve grenadier battalions were sent to Wittgenstein and heavily used.

My OOB for Wittgenstein, similar to the Riga Garrison one, would be of use to you. I will try to find it and post here. Found it:
