Hmmm...if riding is causing trauma to the coccyx, I dread to think what kind of riding style is involved, since (contrary to what some instructors teach, and all too may people believe) the coccyx should not come into contact with the saddle (indeed it is physically impossible for it to do so unless the rider adopts a position which will, in a short space of time, cause severe back problems to both rider and horse) and if the rider is riding in such a way that the coccyx is being jarred, think of the trauma to the poor horse!
