No reason to ignore you - you are the only one interested!

Soult clearly wanted to profit - and I still argue he did. With Napoleon removed, he filled the vacuum, he just had to wait until the Bourbons ran their course - and that was not predicted.

If descendants of Soult would release everything they have, maybe there is an explanation for all of Soult's actions... but as of today, it has escaped the very few who have studied it.
