As you should have gathered from this thread, it seems that there is no proof that N dipped into funds where he should not have. You have just listed 3 corrupt, very senior figures, there were undoubtedly more. If you need to gauge the extent of the fiddling that went on in the Grande Armee, I suggest you read John Elting`s `Swords Around a Throne, the logistics chapter, pages 553 - 574. Theft and embezzlement seems to have been endemic and impossible to eradicate. I really wonder if anybody tried to stop it at all.
