I have a question concerning Wurttemberg infantry uniforms, specifically drummers in summer 1809. Most sources indicate that the drummers wore swallow's nests in the facing color, with button colored lace trim and a 'W' across the nest. But what about Regiment von Camrer, which had white facings, and white buttons? This would leave a white-on-white combination, which seems impractical. Does anyone have any information specific to this regiment and color combination? I'm tempted to use a blue swallow's nest with white lace, but I want to be as accurate as possible.
