Re: Grouchy's account of the battle of Waterloo

Nothing particularly suspicious about getting his baton back in 1830: all the grades and decorations awarded during the 100 days had naturally been annulled at the Second Restoration and L-P had them all restored as part of his system of getting support from the Bonapartists - remember Napoleon jr was still alive at this time.
