Re: To the Contrarians of the Forum

What I really appreciated about this forum over others is the lack of aggressive moderation. The moderation I've observed has been appropriate and dealt with legalities of copyright etc.

I have seen a lot of insults without nary a word, and the moderation is light. I doubt seriously that this forum has survived because of moderation. As I mentioned, the greatest moderation is the lack of anonymity which has seemingly kept the participation in the hundreds, while I know many more thousands lurk/read.

So what happened now? Some complaining about complaining? Some dig in a bit on a particular subject?

There was nothing in the last few weeks that warrants a crackdown on anything, and I fear any crackdown would have an unnecessary chilling impact.
