General Sir James Craig

As noted in this article, the governor of Canada at this time was General Sir James Craig; Governor general of Canada from 1807-1801. Craig was also the commanding officer of the British forces involved in the 1805/1806 Russo/Anglo invasion of Naples and afterwards the occupation of Sicily. It's always been an interesting note that Craig surrendered his command, according to him, due to extreme poor health. Yet, he then continued his military service in Canada for 4 more years in apparent good health.
