Short biography in Daltonís The Waterloo Roll Call 1890. Pages 111-112.

Dalton states his name as George Davis Willson.

He exchanged from Lieutenant Colonel half pay unattached to Captain and Lieutenant Colonel Grenadier Guards 19 November 1830. Retired by sale of his commission 26 November 1830. Name retained in the Army Lists but receiving neither pay nor progressive promotion.
