I toured the battlefield of Leipzig in much detail some years back. We visited the Kolmberg, which Marbot describes as a definite natural feature, on top of which a group of enemy royalty appeared, while he and his regiment rode around the edges of trying to catch them.
The Kolmberg is an insignificant swell in the landscape, scarcely perceptible; it has minimal `sides`. Were anyone to be on its `summit`, an observer on any side could reach out and touch him.
