One of the central goals of the International Napoleonic Society is to bring together Napoleonic scholars and students from around the world. To help promote that goal, we are pleased to provide the following list of Napoleonic Organizations, Academic Groups and Historical Publications. Some are dedicated exclusively to Napoleon, while others include Napoleonic studies as part of a broader approach. This list is by no means complete. If you would like an organization or publication included in our next issue, please contact the Editor-in-Chief.

The Israeli Society for Napoleonic Research
Mordechai Gichon, President
P.O.B. 1185 RE'UT
71908 Israel

The ISNR aims to promote knowledge, study and research in the Napoleonic period. Understanding of the 20th century is made more comprehensive through the study of the 18th and 19th century, and the most dominant person of that period. This is especially true for those who have an interest in the history of the Jews, for it was the French Revolution and Napoleon that gave the impetus to the abolition of the medieval restrictions imposed upon European Jewry, west of Czarist Russia.

World Web Pages

There are countless web pages covering the topic of Napoleon. A lot, if not most of them are listed on the Napoleon Series Links page.
