An impressive overview and guide to events in the Chesapeake Bay region, where 11 battles, 63 skirmishes and over 86 raids took place. The book lists over 800 historical sites in the region, making it an indispensible resource to this theatre of the War of 1812. The authors are an impressive group of cultural resource managers, historians and U.S. National Parks Service staff.
