Captain Alexander de Roverea's Account of the Battle of AlbueraCaptain Alexander de Roverea of the Sicilian Regiment served as an aide-de-camp to General Sir Lowry Cole during the battle. Several months later, he wrote a letter to his father containing a detailed account of the battle that was eventually published in 1848 his father's memoirs.
