Louis de Tousard and His "Artillerists Companion": an Investigation of Source Material for Napoleonic Period OrdnanceRecent discussion on the Napoleon Series Forum about Tousard's book prompted to remember that, more years ago than I like to remember, I wrote an article on the Artillerist's Companion which attempted to analyze the sources from which Tousard drew information.
