Formed in 1740, as the Volontaires de Flandre, becoming
the Legion de Flandre in 1762. Disbanded in 1776 and
reformed as the 2e Regiment de Chasseurs-à-Cheval in 1779.
In 1788, the Regiment became the Regiment de Chasseurs de
Guyenne and in 1791 they finally became the 8e Regiment de
Chasseurs.

Formed in 1757, as the Volontaires de Hainaut, becoming
the Legion de Hainaut in 1762 and the Legion de Lorraine in
1768. Disbanded in 1776. The Regiment reformed in 1779 as
the 3e Regiment de Chasseurs-à-Cheval and in 1788 became the
Regiment de Chasseurs de Lorraine, finally becoming the 9e
Regiment de Chasseurs in 1791.

Formed in 1758, as the Volontaires de Clermont-Prince and
becoming the Legion de Clermont-Prince in 1763. In 1766 the
name changed to the Legion de Conde and disbanded in 1776.
Reformed as the 4e Regiment de Chasseurs-à-Cheval and in
1779 becoming the Regiment de Chasseurs de Bretagne in 1788,
finally becoming the 10e Regiment de Chasseurs in 1791.
