  1. Austerlitz Battlefield (Slavkovske Bojiste) sign.
  2. Looking NE from the east edge of Tellnitz, where the French 3rd Ligne fought off several successive attacks by Kienmayer's column approaching up this road. At the close of the battle, the Austrian O'Reilly Chevauxlegers Regiment heroically counterattacked in this direction against several regiments of French Dragoons to screen the retreat of the Allied infantry toward Satschen.
  3. Tellnitz Church and Parish House, fortified and occupied as a strongpoint by the converged grenadiers of the 3rd Ligne during the fight for Tellnitz.
  4. Mr. Ladislav Koralnik of Telnice (Tellnitz) with his collection of roundshot. A lifelong Napoleonic enthusiast and collector like his father before him, Mr. Koralnik generously and expertly guided us around the southern half of the battlefield.
  5. Mr. Koralnik standing by the calvary at the southeast edge of Tellnitz marking a mass grave of French and Allied soldiers. In this view looking S, the flat green field in the middle distance is the site of the pond between Tellnitz and Satschen where fleeing Russians broke through the ice and drowned.
