Research: Abstract of the Napoleonic Era

 

French Council of State Decree on Which Regiments Bouches-du-Rhin, Bouches-de-l'Escaut, and Arronsdissement de Breda (Deux-Nèthes) would Send Conscripts to in 1811

Editor's Note Bouches-du-Rhin and Bouches-de-l'Escaut were annexed into France 24 April 1810. The Arronsdissement de Breda (Deux-Nèthes), which consisted of the city of Antwerp was created a department on 1 October 1795. The French Sénatus-Consulte decreed on 21 January 1811 the following men would be provided by each of these departments. Those men born in the years 1788, 1789, and 1790 would be eligible to be conscripted. The men would report for duty in 1811.
