Mortality Statistics:

Number of Deaths Caused by Typhoid in Central Europe: 1813 - 1814

An estimated 200,000 - 300,000 civilians in Central Europe died from typhoid fever during 1813 - 1814. This does not include a similar number of soldiers of the various armies fighting in the area who are also believed to have died during the period. The following figures include both military and civilian dead.
