Peninsular War: Served with his regiment. Temporarily commanded cavalry
brigade March-May 1811, July-September 1812. Permanently commanded
cavalry brigades January-April 1814.
Other Service: Commanded cavalry brigade KGL The Netherlands 1814-1815.
Commanded 7th Cavalry Brigade Flanders and France 1815 and at Waterloo.
Commanded 2nd Cavalry Brigade Hanoverian Army 1816-1818.

Colonel Commandant of the 3rd Hussars KGL 1814-1816. Colonel of the
3rd Gottingen Hussar Regiment Hanoverian Army 1816.
