Drummond, George Duncan (17** - 8 September 1811)

Ensign 33rd Foot 1782,  Ensign 1st Foot Guards 1786, Lieutenant & Captain 1st Foot Guards 1793, Captain-Lieutenant & Lieutenant-Colonel 1st Foot Guards 1799, Captain & Lieutenant-Colonel 1st Foot Guards 1799, Lieutenant Colonel 24th Foot 1808, Brevet Colonel 1809,  Brigadier General on the Staff 1811.

Early Service: Sicily 1806.

Peninsular War: Served with his regiment. Temporarily commanded Light Division February-March 1811. Commanded brigade Light Division March-September 1811. Wounded Talavera July 1809. Died of illness in the Peninsula 1811.
