Portugal & Spain: Portugal & Spain 1808-1809 and Vimeiro 1808
and Corunna 1809.
Peninsular War: with his regiment in the 5th Division 1810-1814 and
twice wounded at San Sebastian July and August 1813.
Other Service: Walcheren 1809. Commanded brigade in British North
America 1814-1815 in War of 1812. Temporarily commanded 16th
Brigade France 1815. On Home Staff 1823-1834.
Colonel of 93rd Foot 1832-1833, 9th Foot 1833-1844.
