General on the Staff. Major General 1794, Lieutenant General 1801,
*disbanded 1783. +renumbered 19th Light Dragoons 1786 and disbanded
Early Service: on continent Seven Years War 1760-1761.
Service 1793-1815: Bengal & Madras Presidencies India 1781-1800
and wounded 1791 and in 3rd Mysore War and 4th Mysore War and
at both captures of Seringapatam 1792 and 1799, on staff Ireland 1803-1806
Created a baronet 1816.
Colonel of the 26th (23rd 1803) Light Dragoons 1800-1804, 8th Light
