Fox, Henry Edward (4 March 1755 -  18 July 1811)

Son of 1st Baron Holland. 

Cornet 1st Dragoon Guards 1770, Lieutenant 1st Dragoon Guards 1773, Captain 38th Foot 1774, Major 49th Foot 1777, Lieutenant Colonel 38th Foot 1779, Brevet Colonel 1783, Major General 1793, Lieutenant General 1799, General Mediterranean 1801, General Mediterranean & Gibraltar 1804, General 1808.

Early service: North America 1774-1779 and 1780-1783. British North America 1783-1789. Brigadier General Bagshot Heath 1792.

Service 1793-1815: Flanders 1793-1795 and Quartermaster-General 1793,  Inspector General of theRecruiting Service Home Staff 1795-1799, Lieutenant Governor Minorca 1799, Commander-in-Chief Mediterranean 1801-1802, Commander-in-Chief in Ireland 1803,on Home Staff 1804, Lieutenant Governor Gibraltar 1804-1806,  Commander-in-Chief Mediterranean 1806-1807.

Aide-de-Camp to the King 1783.

Colonel Commandant and Colonel 131st Foot 1793-1795, Colonel of the 10th Foot 1795-1811.
