Letter of British Pleniportentiary Announcing the Departure of Lord Yarmouth: 17 August 1806
Paris, August 17, 1806.
No. XXIV. – The undersigned has the honor to warn H. Exc. the Minister for Foreign Relations, that H.M. of Britain has been pleased to accommodate the request of the Count of Yarmouth, and to allow him to return to England. According to the content of the full-authorities of undersigned already communicated to their Ex. the French plenipotentiaries, he is authorized to deal jointly or separately with the French Government; and he has just received from his court new precise instructions for this purpose, if the response to note of the 11 this month would likely make it possible for the undersigned to continue the negotiation.
The undersigned has the honor to renew to H. Exc. the insurances of his high consideration.
