Letter from Talleyrand to Lauderdale about Passports: 24 September 1806
No. XXXVI. – Mylord, I have the honor to inform you that I took the orders of H. M. on the object of the letter that Y. Exc. made me the honor of writing, on the date of September 22, and that he authorized immediately Mr. de Champagny, his ambassador plenipotentiary, to deliver to you all the passports which will be necessary for Y. Exc., to ensure the regularity and the celerity of your communications with the ministry of H. M. of the British.
I have the honor to renew to Y. Exc. etc.
