British Army Regimental Returns: 1st Foot Guards 1815By Robert Burnham
On the 25th of each month, every infantry regiment was required to send a comprehensive a strength return to the Horse Guards (the headquarters of the British Army). These returns listed the number of officers, sergeants, musicians, and other ranks in each battalion. Additionally it lists the names and ranks of each officer every battalion the locations of those on detached duty, on leave, etc. Placed on the Napoleon Series: July 2019 - January 2020
