11e Regiment de Chasseurs-a-Cheval
Created as the Volontaires Etrangers de Wurmser in 1762,
the name changing the same year to the Volontaires de
Soubise. In 1766, the Regiment became the Legion de Soubise,
disbanded in 1766 the Regiment reformed in 1779 as the 5e
Regiment de Chasseurs-a-Cheval becoming the Chasseeurs de
Normandie in 1788. Finally it became the 11e Regiment de
Chasseurs in 1791

12e Regiment de Chasseurs-a-Cheval
Created in 1769 as the Legion-Corse renamed in 1775 as
the Legion du Dauphine, disbanded the same year and reformed
in 1779 as the 6e Regiment de Chasseurs-a-Cheval. In 1788
the Regimeent became the Chasseurs de Champagne and in 1791
the 12e Regiment de Chasseurs.
