French Chasseur-a-Cheval Regiments and the Colonels Who Led Them 1791-1815:21e - 31e RegimentsBy Tony Broughton, FINSFollowing on from my previous articles on the Chasseurs a Cheval, I now conclude with the final Regiments who served in the Napoleonic Wars. I should explain that there are no official Histories for the Regiments Numbered 22e to 31e. Therefore using all the available information that I have there may be some Colonels and dates missing from this article. I feel that to complete any work completely on the French Cavalry of the Napoleonic period it is essential to use Regimental Histories as they are the primary scource of all information. 21e Regiment de Chasseurs-a-Cheval
